This three-hour kayaking adventure serves as a great introduction to the sport, perfect for beginners looking to learn the fundamentals or experienced paddlers wanting to improve their skills. The course covers basic paddling strokes, terminology, etiquette, safety information, and more. Starting on dry land, participants are advised to bring beach essentials and an extra bottle of water for the hot Florida days. It is recommended to bring a waterproof dry bag to keep valuables dry, or leave them in your vehicle to avoid getting wet. Participants are encouraged to wear clothes that can get wet and possibly dirty, water shoes, sun protection, glasses strap, water, snacks, towel, and a change of clothes. It is important to be prepared for the possibility of getting wet while out on the water. Those with their own kayaking gear should bring it, otherwise equipment can be provided. The class is rain or shine, with the only exception being in the event of lightning. Please note that classes with five or fewer participants may be subject to cancellation up to two hours before the scheduled start time due to low enrollment. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
