The Paddington Walking Tour is a 2-hour adventure through the charming London neighborhood of Paddington, which inspired the name of the beloved bear from Peru over 50 years ago. Participants are encouraged to bring a marmalade sandwich, comfortable shoes, and a duffle coat (or rain jacket) for this fun-filled exploration of Paddington and surrounding areas such as Paddington Green, Maida Vale, Little Venice, and Notting Hill. Starting at Paddington Station, where Mr. and Mrs. Brown found Paddington, the tour includes visits to a statue of the bear, filming and literary locations, and behind-the-scenes information about the creation of the character. During the tour, participants will also take a short bus journey on public transport to Notting Hill, where they can visit the film location for Mr. Gruber’s shop in Portobello Road. The adventure includes stops at Mr. Gruber’s antiques shop, the world-famous Portobello Market, and off-the-beaten-track locations to discover lesser-known and picturesque parts of London.
