Experience the thrill of night kayaking in the Bio Bay of Laguna Grande Reserve in Fajardo with our eco-adventure tour. This unique experience allows outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers to paddle through the bioluminescent waters, created by microscopic organisms called dinoflagellates. The glowing effect produced by these organisms is truly mesmerizing as you navigate through the mangrove forest of the reserve. Our night kayaking tour includes hotel pickup and drop off, experienced tour guides, and all necessary kayaking equipment. For guests with special needs or disabilities, wheelchair-accessible adaptations are available. However, it is important to note that this is a risky activity and is not advised for expectant mothers. Guests are encouraged to leave valuables at home, wear clothes that can get wet, and bring bug repellent for added comfort during the tour. To participate in the night kayaking adventure, guests must be able to swim and be at least 6 years old. Double kayaks are provided for two persons, with a maximum weight limit of 250 pounds per person. Guests are required to sign a waiver before the tour and should be prepared to get wet from the waist down. While the intensity of the bioluminescent glow depends on various natural factors beyond our control, the tour operates rain or shine unless extreme weather conditions or warnings are issued by local authorities or the U.S. Coast Guard. Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
