Experience the beauty of Colorado on a thrilling whitewater adventure through Browns Canyon National Monument. Surrounded by stunning rock formations and towering Pinon Pines, you'll navigate splashy waves and enjoy opportunities for rock jumping and swimming in the pristine waters of the Arkansas River. After the exhilarating rafting portion, indulge in a delicious Gourmet Burger Lunch at the Riverside Beer Garden before embarking on a horseback ride through high alpine meadows and babbling creeks at the base of Mt. Princeton. Minimum age for this adventure is 7 years old, with departures from the Buena Vista Rafting Outpost at 9:00 am. Plan for up to 8 hours for the entire trip, with check-in required 45 minutes prior to departure. For the rafting portion, make sure to wear a swimsuit, quick-drying clothes, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Bring dry clothes and a towel for after the trip, as well as money for guide gratuity, photos, and souvenirs. The trip includes a FREE Wetsuit Package with a wetsuit, splash jacket, and river shoes. For the horseback riding portion, wear long pants and tennis shoes, along with a sun-hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a water bottle. Don't forget your camera to capture the stunning views along the way. Be prepared with money for additional items such as guide gratuity, photos, and souvenirs to commemorate your Wild-West adventure in Colorado.
