Experience a journey through the history of the antebellum south with a visit to Oak Alley Plantation. This 5 1/2 hour tour includes roundtrip transportation and admission to the plantation. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the Slavery at Oak Alley exhibit, Civil War exhibit, Sugarcane Theater, and Big House, offering a comprehensive look at the plantation's rich history. The tour is available Wednesday through Monday, with hotel pick-up times varying based on the tour start time. Guests are advised to be ready at their designated pick-up time, and to allow a 30-minute window for the driver to complete all hotel pickups. The tour concludes approximately 5.5 hours after the start time, providing ample time to immerse oneself in the history and beauty of Oak Alley Plantation. Included in the tour is a narrated journey from a licensed driver, providing insight and information while en route to the plantation. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the 25 historic acres and 300-year-old allee of oaks that make Oak Alley Plantation a powerful testimony to the past.
