The Monuments and Memorials photo safari is a 3.5-hour adventure personally conducted by professional architectural photographer and WPS Director E. David Luria. Participants will receive basic instruction on all aspects of travel photography, including camera settings and composition techniques. Beginners can learn to get full use of their camera settings, while intermediate and advanced photographers can benefit from Mr. Luria's extensive knowledge of photography opportunities in the DC area. The safari includes visits to iconic locations such as Lafayette Park, the White House, the Albert Einstein Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, and more, providing ample subjects for photography. Participants will also receive a copy of the Washington Photo Safari Guide for Amateur Photographers, a 130-page eBook with valuable photography tips. The safari concludes with lunch at Union Station for the morning session, while the All-Day Safari continues with visits to the US Capitol building, US Botanic Gardens, Adams-Morgan neighborhood, and Washington National Cathedral.
