Embark on a 3-hour Hawaiian Canoe Paddle Adventure to the Mokes with local watermen in Kailua, where you will learn about the history and cultural significance of the wa’a (canoe) to Hawaiian and Polynesian cultures. Explore the clear waters of Kailua and visit the private wildlife sanctuary islands as you paddle through the coral reefs, encountering sea turtles and other native sea life. Immerse yourself in a unique Hawaiian experience unlike any other in the world, while learning about the native inhabitants that call the Mokuluas home. During the adventure, enjoy the stunning views of the Ko’olau range surrounding the islands as watermen share the mo’olelo (stories) of the region's rich history. Experience catching waves on the canoe and surfing Hawaiian style on the way back, a traditional pastime of local Hawaiians. Participants are required to arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour departure time, sign an electronic liability waiver, and be prepared to paddle and get wet.
