Embark on a 1.5-hour boat adventure around the Gordon Bay Islands, starting from the picturesque Gordon Bay Provincial Park. Take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes and crystal clear waters as you work on your paddle technique and explore the pristine waters around the islands. If you're up for it, the tour may continue to the towering moss-covered cliffs of Cowichan Lake for an added adventure. Before setting off, meet at the paddle pod to get equipped with all the necessary paddleboarding gear, including a paddleboard, adjustable paddle, Mustang PFD, smartphone dry pouch, and a dry bag for your belongings. A Quick Start lesson will cover the basics of maneuvering the board, navigating to the islands, and safety considerations. Learn how to properly size your paddle, perform different strokes, stand up on the board, and get back on if you fall off, along with fun wildlife facts about the area. To make the most of your boat adventure, remember to bring essentials like a hat, sunglasses with a lanyard, sunscreen, a beach towel, snacks, and plenty of drinking water to stay hydrated. Participants must be 19 years old or older to rent a paddleboard alone. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of CAD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
