The River Outfitter offers a unique tasting tour that combines kayaking, biking, delicious food, and unique beverages in Traverse City. The tour starts at 12 noon and ends at 5:30 pm, allowing participants to visit the best eateries and brew pubs in the area. Guests will pedal back on comfortable cruisers before hopping into kayaks to continue the adventure on the water. It is recommended to wear appropriate clothing for both exercise and entering restaurants, such as shoes, shorts, and shirts. Participants can choose between a single kayak with one bike for $69 or a tandem kayak with two bikes for $138. The price includes bikes, helmets, a guide, and a kayak or paddle board. The Jackson Riviera Sit-on-Top Kayaks provided have a capacity of 300lbs for singles and 450lbs for tandems. These kayaks are easy to use, comfortable, and suitable for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. The high-back seat offers plenty of support for a full day of kayaking, making it the perfect way to explore the area's stunning waters. All tours are self-guided and start at 1910 W. South Airport Rd. (Medalie Park). It is recommended to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled experience. While drinks and food are not included in the program registration, participants will have the opportunity to visit Traverse City's top eateries and brew pubs for a unique culinary experience.
