For those interested in captained boats, a valid Driver's License/State Issued ID or Passport is required for individuals at least 18 years old. If you prefer to rent without a captain, you must be at least 25 years old and possess the same valid identification. Individuals born after 1/1/1988 will need a boating license, which can be easily obtained by completing a FREE Online Boating Safety Course on the BoatUS Foundation website. A link will be provided in your confirmation email after making your reservation. To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable trip, we recommend bringing essential items such as a towel, water-resistant camera, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, bathing suit, cell phone, plenty of water, food, ice (unless purchased at booking), and of course, a big smile.
