Experience the thrill of rafting 11 miles on the Nenana River with the Canyon Wave Raft Tour. Navigate through exciting glacial rapids like Razorback, New Wave, Train-wreck, and Coffee Grinder as a Paddle Rafter or enjoy a more leisurely ride as an Oar Boat Rider. The tour lasts approximately 3.5 hours, providing ample time for adventure and excitement on the water. To prepare for the trip, New Wave provides essential gear such as dry suits, river shoes, PFDs, and helmets to ensure safety and comfort on the river. It is recommended that participants wear warm layers and bring warm socks to stay cozy during the rafting experience. With the glacial river temperatures in mind, dressing appropriately will enhance the enjoyment of the adventure while the provided gear keeps you dry. In the event of high water or wind conditions, New Wave has a policy in place to ensure the safety of participants. If a Canyon Wave trip is canceled, guests will be automatically rebooked for the Wilderness Wave trip at the same time slot. To stay informed and receive important updates, guests are encouraged to contact New Wave prior to the trip and opt in for text notifications. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
