Choose between a single or tandem kayak and learn the basics of kayaking from an ACA Certified Kayak Instructor. Children under 13 must ride in the front seat with an adult in a Tandem Kayak on Guided Excursions, while children under 5 and under 50 lbs can ride for free in the center jump seat with 2 paying paddlers. Private group options are available with a minimum of 2 vessels for the excursion to hold. Paddle along the shallow waterways of the Rehoboth Bay and marvel at the diverse wildlife that frequents the area. Spot Osprey, Great Blue Heron, Green Heron, and Bald Eagles as you pass by Thompson Island, where ancient burial grounds are protected by the state park. Feel the sun on your skin and the breeze in your hair as you explore the picturesque surroundings on this beginner-friendly kayak adventure. Limited availability may require a change in kayak selection, so book early to secure your spot. Enjoy free parking before 10 AM every day and after 5 PM on Mondays.
