The trip covers approximately 6 miles of river, passing through historic sites like the Argo Gold Mine and the Charlie Taylor waterwheel. Trips are available at 9:00am, 1:00pm, and 4:00pm, lasting around 2-2.5 hours. The package includes professional guides, safety equipment, and transportation to the put-in location. Wetsuits are available if needed, and additional gear like splash jackets and booties can be rented for a small fee. The season for Clear Creek rafting runs from May to August. Colorado Adventure Guides and Colorado Rafting Company have been providing outdoor adventures for over 20 years, offering activities like rock climbing, mountaineering, and whitewater rafting. No prior training is necessary for the rafting trip, as all specialized equipment is provided. Gratuities for guides are appreciated, typically ranging from 15-20%.
