Embark on a two-hour sailing adventure on the Rappahannock River, departing at 8am, 10am, 12:30pm, and 3pm daily. Whether you are a seasoned sailor or a novice looking for a unique experience, this excursion can be tailored to your comfort level and preferences. Participate in sailing activities like pulling lines and cranking winches, or simply relax on the bow and take in the scenic views or catch up on some reading. Before setting sail on the 36’ Columbia Galene, guests are provided with a thorough introduction to the vessel and a safety briefing. As the boat leaves the harbor and enters the river, the real sailing adventure begins. Guests are encouraged to bring their own food and drinks in a cooler, with the exception of glass containers. Dressing in layers is recommended, as the weather on the water may differ from the climate on land. Guests should also bring appropriate footwear, sunscreen, a raincoat, and any necessary personal items for the trip. Prepare for a memorable experience on the water by bringing a camera or smartphone to capture the breathtaking views. While the cabin provides ample space for storage and changing clothes, it is important to protect electronic devices from the elements. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
