Embark on a thrilling adventure to visit the stunning Mendenhall Glacier with our most popular tour. Rates start from $339 per person plus tax for ages 12 and up, with a duration of 5.5 hours. Minimum requirements include being at least 12 years old, weighing no more than 250 pounds, and wearing a minimum shoe size of Youth 2. A liability waiver must also be signed before participating in the tour. Highlights of the tour include exploring the Tongass National Forest, gliding across Mendenhall Glacier Lake in spacious canoes, trekking along the glacier's rocky moraine, and marveling at its stunning ice features. The activity level is strenuous, but no experience is necessary. The price includes a professional guide, roundtrip van transportation, all paddling equipment, rain gear, safety gear, a hearty snack pack, and a souvenir water bottle. Important notes to consider before booking the tour include physical fitness requirements, weight restrictions, and the ever-changing nature of the glacier. Pregnant guests are not permitted to participate due to the inherent risks involved. Clients must also disclose any pertinent medical conditions or limitations that may affect their ability to complete the trek. A rescue fee will be charged for any rescue needed due to undisclosed medical conditions or insufficient physical fitness. Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
