Experience a breathtaking boat adventure with the stunning Teton Range as your backdrop on a three-hour float down the Snake River. Starting at the Wilson Landing, just south of Grand Teton Park, guests will enjoy a leisurely journey down the river while knowledgeable guides share insights on the history, geology, flora, and fauna of the area. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife such as moose, elk, deer, and bald eagles, with close-up views of active eagle nests along the way. The adventure includes a stop on a scenic gravel bar for a fresh picnic lunch, offering a chance to soak in the beauty of the surrounding mountain ranges. Guests will be seated on the outside pontoons and cross tubes of the raft, with all navigation and propulsion handled by the guide via a center-mounted oar frame. The trip concludes at Von Gontard’s landing, about 15 minutes south of Jackson, ensuring a memorable experience on the river. Included in the adventure are a professional guide, boat, equipment, bottled water, and a picnic lunch. To prepare for the trip, guests are advised to bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and appropriate clothing for the weather. Any footwear is suitable as the experience generally does not involve getting wet, though sandals are recommended.
