Experience the incredible diversity of wildlife at the Wood River Wetlands during a 3-hour boat adventure. As 3/4 of the birds on the Pacific Flyway stop in the Klamath Basin, this wetland is a prime location for birdwatching. In addition to a variety of birds such as pelicans, herons, and eagles, you may also spot beavers, marmots, and river otters. The easy float is perfect for beginners and allows for plenty of opportunities to take photos of the stunning wildlife. The adventure begins at Petric Park and takes you through the wetlands to the Wood River, where you will float downstream to Agency Lake before returning back through the wetlands. Experienced Oregon Guides lead the tour, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. All necessary equipment, including kayaks, paddles, and life jackets, are provided. Guests are encouraged to bring water, snacks, sun and eye protection, and appropriate clothing for the excursion. Included in the tour are local, licensed guides, small group sizes, and all necessary equipment. No previous kayaking experience is required, as guides will provide instruction. Guests are required to sign a company policy waiver and minors must have a parent or guardian permission form. Discounts are available for those who apply through the website.
