Embark on a thrilling two-day boat adventure for $895, where participants will learn the skills needed to skipper a sloop-rigged, auxiliary powered keelboat. The course runs from 9am to 5pm on consecutive days and requires prerequisites of ASA 101 and ASA 103. Participants will gain knowledge in various areas such as provisioning, boat systems, sail trim, navigation, docking, emergency operations, and more. During the course, participants will have the opportunity to practice their skills in moderate to heavy winds (up to 30 knots) and sea conditions. The curriculum includes hands-on experience in coastal navigation, basic chart plotting, GPS operation, multiple-anchor mooring, and dinghy/tender operation. Study materials are included in the course, and a minimum of two students is required to hold a class.
