Experience the thrill of piloting an auxiliary-powered catamaran in fair to moderate conditions during a two-day boat adventure. This course is perfect for those who have already completed the ASA 101 Basic Keelboat class and want to further develop their sailing skills. The emphasis is on safety and seamanship, allowing participants to confidently skipper a sloop-rigged auxiliary powered keelboat of approximately 25 to 35 feet in length. Participants will learn essential skills such as intermediate sail trim, navigation rules, basic coastal navigation, anchoring, weather interpretation, and safety procedures. The course runs from 9am to 5pm on consecutive days, providing ample time to practice and refine new techniques. With a minimum of two students required to hold the class, participants will have the opportunity to learn in a small, personalized setting. Included in the course are study materials to help students prepare for the adventure ahead. The cost per person is $895, offering a comprehensive learning experience at a competitive rate.
