Adventure Details
The ACA Skill Assessment course is a 6-8 hour program designed to evaluate a participant's ability to perform essential skills and demonstrate knowledge in coastal kayaking. Participants have the opportunity to achieve ACA's Coastal Kayaking Level 3 certification upon successful completion of the assessment. The course includes the use of a kayak, paddle, and PFD, making it convenient for beginners who are still exploring their options. Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather and be prepared for complete immersion in rescue classes. Bringing drinking water, sun protection, and extra layers in cold weather is recommended for a comfortable and safe experience on the water. While the course provides equipment for those who need it, participants with their own kayaks may be asked to use provided kayaks if their own is deemed unsafe or unsuitable for the class. Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
