Adventure Details
The ACA Skill Assessment course is a 6-8 hour program designed to evaluate participants' fundamental paddling skills and knowledge. Participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities and receive documentation of achieving ACA's Level 1 paddling ability. The course provides a thorough evaluation of skills and knowledge, helping participants improve their kayaking proficiency. Participants will be provided with a kayak, paddle, and PFD free of charge during the course. This is especially helpful for beginners who are still figuring out which kayak is best for them. If participants already own a kayak, they are encouraged to use it to become more familiar with their own equipment. However, if a participant's kayak is deemed unsafe or inappropriate for the class, they may be required to use one provided by the program. To prepare for the course, participants are advised to dress according to the weather and bring extra layers in cold conditions. For rescue classes, participants should dress for complete immersion in the water. It is also recommended to bring drinking water, sun protection (hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, long sleeves), and any other necessary items to ensure a comfortable and safe experience on the water. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
