The route, which opened in 1875, once carried lumber and tourists to the Big Trees and Santa Cruz, showcasing the rich history of the area. This family-friendly adventure offers a unique way to experience the best of Santa Cruz. Rates for the Santa Cruz Beach - Felton Train adventure are $41.95 for adults (ages 13 and up) and $27.95 for children (ages 2-12), with infants under 2 riding for free. The 3-hour journey includes a one-hour layover in Felton, allowing time to explore the town of Roaring Camp before heading back to the bustling beach boardwalk.
