Adventure Details
Sea Quest offers beginner full day kayak rentals in Friday Harbor, San Juan Island, with no prior experience necessary. The rental includes top quality stand up paddle boards, safety equipment, and a convenient launch location. Sea Quest also provides transportation to and from Friday Harbor and the launch beach if desired, as well as a GPS unit for safety tracking. Renters can choose to have the kayaks dropped off at the beach for $49 per group round trip, or opt for a shuttle service from Friday Harbor to the beach for the same price. The meeting time is variable, with most rentals starting around 12 noon, and the finish time and place is also flexible. Renters must return the boats approximately 6 hours after acquiring them, and custom time pickups/drop offs can be arranged with the office. To prepare for the adventure, renters should bring beach clothing, footwear, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and lunch. Additionally, a hat, warm sweater, and rain jacket are recommended in case of cool, cloudy, windy, or rainy weather. Sea Quest advises renters to communicate regarding custom time pickups/drop offs, as whales, winds, or currents may occasionally delay shuttle services. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
