Embark on a unique and unforgettable Shark Expedition in San Diego, where you'll have the opportunity to snorkel with pelagic sharks in their natural environment. Our cageless and sustainable approach ensures a safe and remarkable encounter with these magnificent creatures. Suitable for both beginners and intermediates, this 8-hour adventure aboard the custom-built 21’ Rib boat HOA-KAI offers an intimate experience with blue and Mako sharks in offshore waters. Departing from Mission Bay, San Diego, our expedition includes beverages, healthy snacks, and the option to bring your own food and water. Snorkel enthusiasts are encouraged to bring their own gear, including fins, a mask, and a 7mm wetsuit. Alternatively, rental options are available for a nominal fee. Gratuities for our dedicated crew are appreciated but not expected. Recommendations include bringing warm clothes, a towel, reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat for a day under the sun. Those prone to seasickness are advised to take medication before the trip. Please note that our expeditions require a minimum of 3 participants to run. In the event that the minimum is not met, options include purchasing an additional ticket, receiving a refund, or rescheduling for another trip. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed due to the unpredictable nature of the open ocean. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
