Experience the beauty of Yosemite National Park with a half-day fly fishing adventure perfect for the whole family. This excursion offers a basic introduction to fly fishing with a focus on the experience of being out on the water and learning about aquatic ecology and conservation. Guests will have the opportunity to catch and release trout along the river banks of local spots while utilizing the Czech nymphing technique. Participants can expect to walk up to 1 mile during the adventure and must use barbless hooks for catch and release purposes. Boots and waders are not provided, as the activity is centered around fishing from the river bank. The package includes a private fly fishing guide, transportation, National Park entrance fees, fly fishing license, rod, reel, flies, water, water filter, first aid and emergency equipment. To make the most of the experience, guests are encouraged to bring layered clothing, a liter of water per person, a brimmed hat, sunglasses, sunblock, insect repellent, camera, binoculars, hiking boots or shoes, and lunch or snacks.
