Experience an unforgettable boat adventure in Ketchikan with an exclusive charter operated by a seasoned boat owner and guide with over 30 years of Alaska guiding experience. Spend four hours on the water fishing for halibut, known as the delicious "chicken of the sea," with all quality fishing gear, bait, and tackle provided for a hassle-free experience. Make sure to book your charter one hour after your scheduled docking time to ensure a seamless transition from your cruise ship to the boat. If arriving by cruise ship, arrange for a cab pick up with SOURDOUGH CAB COMPANY one hour before docking to ensure a smooth transportation to the boat dock. The cab can accommodate up to six passengers and the cost is a fixed $50 each way, payable in cash or credit card. Once on the boat, enjoy beverages, snacks, and the highest quality fishing gear as the guide navigates the waters to find the best fishing spots and assist you in catching fish. Remember to bring a photo ID, dress in weather-appropriate layers, wear non-slip closed-toe footwear, and bring rain gear if you have it. Sunglasses and an Alaska non-resident fishing license for those aged 16 and over are required for fishing. Licenses can be purchased in advance via the ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF FISH AND GAME website and cannot be purchased aboard the boat on the day of the trip. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
