Adventure Mermaid offers fun diving experiences for SCUBA certified individuals in Old San Juan. The 2-hour excursion includes all necessary equipment, tanks, weights, and a knowledgeable guide. Additional charges may apply for the rental of dive computers or GoPro cameras. The dive takes place from shore in a protected marine reserve, providing a safe environment for juvenile green sea turtles to thrive. Divers can expect to encounter a variety of marine life, such as blue tang, bar jack, octopus, flounder, ray, and angel fish. This shallow shore dive is ideal for open water divers seeking a peaceful underwater adventure in Puerto Rico. In addition to fun diving, this site serves as a great refresher for those returning to diving after a hiatus of more than 6 months. It also offers opportunities for advanced or rescue courses for those interested.
