Experience the thrill of glacier paddle boarding on the Knik Glacier Pools with a 4-hour adventure. Guests will be provided with a dry suit and personal flotation device to brave the freezing cold glacial water. Your guide will assist you in jumping into the lake to help you feel comfortable and prepared for paddle boarding. Once you feel ready, you will embark on a serene paddle out and back to the end of the lake, surrounded by stunning glacier views. This private tour is perfect for adventurous individuals aged 18 and older with a moderate level of fitness. No paddleboarding experience is necessary, but knowing how to swim is recommended. Guests should be prepared for immediate temperature changes, as Alaska's weather can be extreme. Warm layers and thick socks are a must to prevent hypothermia. The tour includes experienced guides, a dry suit, personal flotation device, paddleboard, paddle, micro-spikes, leash, and safety throw rope. For safety reasons, accurate passenger weights are essential to balance the weight distribution of the helicopters. Alaska Helicopter Tours has multiple 3-passenger Robinson 44s with weight limits of 300 lbs per seat and 600 lbs total. Guests exceeding these limits may need to be split into multiple helicopters. A $150 comfort surcharge applies for guests weighing 250 lbs or more to block off an additional seat. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
