Experience the thrill of walking on ancient glacier ice during the 1.5-hour boat adventure departing from Homer, Alaska. Depart by helicopter and soar over Kachemak Bay to witness the stunning views of glaciers, waterfalls, and majestic mountains that are only accessible by air. Land on a high alpine glacier overlooking the bay and explore on foot with your pilot/guide, taking in the beauty of the Kenai Mountains. Highlights of the tour include flying over Kachemak Bay, observing the Kenai Mountains, exploring glacier icefields, and landing at a beautiful waterfall. Keep an eye out for whales, moose, marine wildlife, and possibly bears during the excursion. The summer season tour runs from May 1 to September 30, with a total tour time of 1.5 hours and a flight time of approximately 35 minutes. Book directly to avoid a 6% online booking fee. Prepare for your Flight-seeing Glacier Landing adventure by bringing sturdy footwear, a windproof and waterproof outer layer, warm clothing, a hat, gloves, and sunglasses. Prohibited items include bear spray, lighters, battery packs, loaded guns, and backpacks/bags. Photo packages are available for purchase to capture candid moments during the tour.
