Adventure Details
The Tube Shack offers the only way to river tube the Cowichan River, with rentals that include a shuttle service for convenience. The adventure lasts 2.5 to 3 hours, with the last shuttle pickup at 6:30pm and a shuttle running every 10 minutes. Customers can bring bags and coolers by tying them onto their tubes or opting for a swift tube with a bottom for storage. For those wondering about sharing tubes, regular tubes fit one person while swift tubes are suitable for an adult and small child. Adults and older kids are recommended to book their own tubes and use a tube strap to float together. Small dogs are allowed on the bus and can sit on laps, while medium to large dogs are not recommended as they cannot fit in a tube. Wearing shoes is not mandatory but can make the end of the trip more comfortable. The trip down the Cowichan River is a laid-back journey for the first hour, passing by old bridges, before picking up slightly as the river narrows. The experience is more about relaxation than adrenaline, with the option to view drone footage of the entire run on the website. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of CAD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
