The Tube Shack offers the only way to river tube the Cowichan River, with rentals that include shuttle service for convenience. The adventure typically lasts between 2.5 to 3 hours, with the last shuttle pickup at 6:30pm and frequent shuttle runs every 10 minutes. Visitors are encouraged to leave their Tube Shack tubes inflated and bring them up to the road upon arriving at Little Beach. Frequently asked questions include whether bags and coolers can be taken down the river, to which the answer is yes, as items can be tied onto tubes or placed in swift tubes with a bottom. Additionally, two people can share a swift tube, but adults and older kids are recommended to book their own tubes and use a tube strap to float together. Small dogs are allowed on the bus but medium to large dogs are not recommended due to the long swim, and bringing shoes is not required but recommended for a more enjoyable trip. The river tubing adventure begins with a laid-back journey through the start of the Cowichan River, showcasing old bridges, before picking up a bit as the river narrows. The trip is described as more of a relaxing float than an adrenaline rush, with the option for visitors to view drone footage of the entire run on the website's homepage. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of CAD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
