Rivers to the Sea offers private group surf lessons for parties of 3 or more, providing a safe and enjoyable surfing experience for the whole family or group of friends. With highly trained Maui-native surf instructors, participants can learn to surf at a beginner-friendly break away from the crowds. Lessons are personalized and all gear, including like-new surf boards and protective equipment, is provided for a fun and comfortable experience. Lesson times are available seven days a week at 7:30am, 9:20am, and 11:10am, with a duration of 1.5 hours. Early morning lessons are recommended for optimal surf conditions and fewer crowds. Instructors maintain a 5:1 student/teacher ratio, ensuring personalized attention for each group. All lessons are private, with no combining of guests from different parties. Participants are encouraged to bring sunscreen, towel, water, and a camera for their surf lesson. All instructors at Rivers to the Sea are CPR and First Aid certified, prioritizing the safety of students. Soft-top surfboards are provided for beginners, with the option for experienced surfers to inquire about fiberglass board rentals in advance.
