Rivers to the Sea offers private group surf lessons for parties of 3 or more, providing a safe and enjoyable surfing experience for the whole family or group of friends. With highly trained Maui-native surf instructors, participants can learn to surf at a beginner-friendly break away from the crowds. Lessons are personalized and all gear, including like-new surf boards and protective equipment, is provided for a fun and comfortable experience. Lesson times are available seven days a week at 7:30am, 9:20am, and 11:10am, with a duration of 1.5 hours. Early morning lessons are recommended for optimal surf conditions and fewer crowds. Instructors maintain a 5:1 student/teacher ratio, ensuring personalized attention for each group. All lessons are private, with no combining of guests from different parties. Participants are encouraged to bring sunscreen, towel, water, and a camera for their surf lesson. All instructors at Rivers to the Sea are CPR and First Aid certified, prioritizing the safety of students. Soft-top surfboards are provided for beginners, with the option for experienced surfers to inquire about fiberglass board rentals in advance. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
