Surf Est Surf School offers daily group lessons for individuals 13 years and older, with a SurfGroms program available for children 12 years and under. Multi-person private lessons can also be booked for groups. Lessons run for 1 hour and 20 minutes, with all necessary equipment provided; participants only need to bring swimmers and a towel. Bookings are essential and can be made online up until 6pm the day before, with options to text or email for bookings after this time. The school operates 7 days a week, with classes at 8am, 9.30am, and 11am each morning. A minimum of 3 people is required to run a group lesson, and participants may be offered the option to change their lesson time if minimum numbers are not met. Located at Nobby's Beach in Newcastle East, the school provides a picturesque setting for learning to surf.
