Embark on a unique adventure within the mangroves of Little Sarasota Bay with a kayaking tour. Witness a variety of wildlife, from manatees and dolphins to birds, fish, starfish, and shells. No prior experience is necessary, as guides will provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all ages. The 2-hour tour includes the use of a paddle, life jacket, and dry bags for cameras, keys, and phones. Children under 12 receive a $10 discount and must be accompanied by an adult. Participants are advised to bring water, a towel, sunblock, a hat, and light clothes. In case of rain, tours may be rescheduled or refunded if thunder and lightning are present. Alligators are not typically found in the bay, and kayaking is suitable for individuals of all ages, from 2 to 102. Guides offer a short paddle lesson at the beginning of the tour for those with no experience. While sightings of manatees and dolphins vary throughout the year, the best time to see manatees is from April to December. Dolphins are more commonly spotted in the nearby channel, and there is a chance to see them feeding in the bay. The bay is a protected body of water, making for an easy and relaxing paddle through both shallow and deeper waters.
