Embark on a 3-hour Hawaiian Sailing Canoe Adventure in Kailua, where you will sail on a Waʻa Peʻa, a traditional Hawaiian canoe used for navigation. Learn about the cultural significance of the canoe and the history of Kailua as you journey to offshore islets with knowledgeable watermen. Experience the beauty of the coral reefs and encounter native sea turtles and fish, while taking in the stunning views of the Ko’olau range. During the tour, immerse yourself in the ecosystem of Kailua as you hear stories of the Ahupua’a land divisions and the indigenous seabirds that inhabit the sanctuary island. Participants will need to arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time to check in with a guide and sign an electronic liability waiver. Paddling is required during the adventure, and guests should be prepared to get wet.
