The Original Kaituna Rafting Company offers an exhilarating grade 5 white-water experience on the stunning Kaituna River in New Zealand. With 14 epic rapids, including the famous 7-metre Tutea Falls, this adventure is perfect for adrenaline junkies and first-time rafters alike. Expert guides lead you through a 50-minute action-packed ride in a warm water jungle canyon, providing full training and all necessary equipment. Participants must be at least 13 years old for the Grade 5 rafting trip, with a Grade 3 option available for ages 10-12. Pregnant women are not permitted, and a maximum weight of 120kgs applies. Located at 18 Okere Falls Road in Rotorua, the base is conveniently situated on the riverbank, eliminating long bus rides or waiting in wet suits. The company offers tours daily at various times, with a self-drive option available in the summer months. Guests are encouraged to bring swimwear, shorts, and a sense of adventure, with optional rentals available for GoPro chest harnesses and other gear. The company provides top-of-the-line equipment, including custom-built rafts, wet suits, helmets, life jackets, and more. Shuttle services to and from Rotorua are available with advance bookings. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of NZD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
