Experience the beauty of Kailua Bay while participating in a unique boat adventure focused on marine conservation. Help protect Hawaii’s seabirds, fish, and turtles by removing marine debris during a 45-minute cleanup session. After a brief “Talk Story” in the Kailua Bay Learning Center, embark on a 2½ hour kayak or stand-up paddle board adventure to the island wildlife sanctuary. Enjoy a self-guided exploration with all necessary equipment provided for a safe and enjoyable experience. Included in the adventure is a delicious lunch, with options such as pizza or a local Hawaiian plate. Transportation to and from Waikiki hotels is also provided, ensuring a convenient and stress-free experience for participants. Requirements for the adventure include the ability to swim and handle oneself in the ocean, as well as wearing a bathing suit under work clothes for check-in. Participants should also be prepared to get wet and wear footwear that can withstand water. Highlights of the adventure include round-trip transportation, kayak or SUP board rental, life jackets, dry bags, lockers, showers, changing rooms, offshore island landing permits, snorkeling gear, and the use of beach mats and boogie boards. Departure from Waikiki hotels is between 8am-9am, with a return time of approximately 3:30pm-4:30pm.
