Embark on a 4-hour boat adventure to Kealakekua Bay, home to Captain Cook's Monument and the legendary "Place of Refuge." This sought-after snorkeling destination is cherished by the Hawaiian people and has recently increased restrictions, but Kona Ocean Adventures proudly holds one of the limited permits to take you there. The bay is the largest sheltered natural bay on the island of Hawaii, where you can snorkel among tropical fish, explore coral gardens, and learn about Hawaiian folklore and history from your naturalist captain. Choose from daily departures at 8am or 1:00 pm, or opt for a private charter with a departure time based on guest request. Swimwear should be worn, and don't forget to bring a towel, hat, and sunscreen for your adventure. In case of cancellation, notify Kona Ocean Adventures by telephone at least 48 hours prior to departure for a full refund for 6 or fewer passengers, or 7 days prior for private charters. Enjoy a delicious lunch with local fresh cut fruits, snacks, and sandwiches as you explore sea caves and lava tubes while learning about the geology of the island. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
