Experience a private, one-on-one surf lesson at Rivers to the Sea, where you will receive personalized instruction tailored to your surfing goals. Whether you are a first-time surfer looking to learn the fundamentals or an intermediate surfer wanting to improve your skills, our fun and professional Maui-native surfers will guide you through the lesson. With like-new equipment provided, including surf boards, surf shirts, and surf shoes, you can focus on honing your surfing skills away from the crowds at our favorite beginner surf break. Lessons are available seven days a week at 7:30am, 9:20am, and 11:10am, with early morning sessions recommended for the best surf conditions and fewer crowds. The 1.5-hour private lesson includes instruction from CPR and First Aid certified instructors who prioritize your safety. Gear provided includes SPF 150 rash guards, protective reef booties, and top-of-the-line soft-top surfboards to ensure a safe and enjoyable learning experience. Students aged 7 and up are welcome to participate, making it a great activity for families and individuals alike. In addition to the surf gear provided, participants are encouraged to bring sunscreen, a towel, water, and a camera to capture their surfing adventure. While safe, soft-top surfboards are used for lessons, experienced surfers may inquire about fiberglass surfboard rentals for an additional fee. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
