The excursion concludes with a tasting of the famous "liquorous" white wine from Pico at a local producer's adega, showcasing the island's rich wine-making history and economic success. Included in the tour are pick-up and drop-off in Madalena, a knowledgeable guide, visits to the wine laboratory or museum, three wine tastings, lunch, and insurance coverage. It is recommended to book the tour at least 24/48 hours in advance to ensure availability at the adega and wine laboratory.
