Captain Zodiac offers a unique and thrilling wildlife watching adventure that lasts 4-5 hours. Guests have the opportunity to explore the diverse marine habitat off the coast of Kona, Hawaii, with experienced Naturalist captains and crew who are passionate about the ocean and its inhabitants. Encounter 17 different resident whale and dolphin species, turtles, sharks, Hawaiian Monk seals, and various species of birds during this ocean safari on military grade Zodiac Hurricanes. While this boat adventure is not a snorkeling excursion, guests are encouraged to bring cameras to capture the marine wildlife and potentially contribute to citizen science with Captain Zodiac. Although encounters with marine animals cannot be guaranteed, the abundance of year-round ocean residents in Kona makes the chance of spotting wildlife high. In the event that the minimum of 6 passengers is not met on a specific day, reservations will be moved to another date. If a trip cannot be run due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, guests will receive a full refund. Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
