Starting at 8 a.m., visitors will arrive at Portage at 9:15 a.m. to begin their adventure. After a boat cruise departing at 10:30 a.m., guests can enjoy a leisurely walk to the Byron Glacier trail for a moderate hike with stunning views. The shuttle back to Anchorage departs at 12:45 p.m., with an arrival back at 3:05 p.m. Board the Turnagain Arm Shuttle for a guided drive along Alaska's most scenic highway, offering breathtaking views of mountain scenery and Cook Inlet. The journey includes a stop at Beluga Point, a popular spot for capturing dramatic photos of Turnagain Arm in all its glory. This self-guided tour allows visitors to take control of their experience and explore the area's beauty in their own way. Please note that this self-guided tour requires visitors to purchase their own cruise ticket at the Portage Day Lodge. It is recommended that guests research available hikes and activities within the allotted time frame to make the most of their adventure.
