Suitable for visitors aged 13 and older, this surf lesson is conducted by lifeguard and CPR-certified instructors who are licensed by the state of Hawaiʻi. Lessons are available daily at various times, including 8:30am, 10:00am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, and 3:00pm. Participants must be able to swim, and those aged 12 and under are required to take a private 1:1 lesson for safety reasons. The lesson includes a 15-minute land safety briefing before hitting the waves with all necessary surfing equipment provided, including a rashguard. Pregnant women or individuals with prior neck or back injuries are advised against taking surf or sup lessons for their safety.
