Embark on a boat adventure from Lisbon to the famous city of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and admire its romantic architecture, palaces, historic villas, and numerous royal palaces and castles. Enjoy the flexibility of choosing different options based on your interests: include a guided tour of the picturesque Pena Palace, or opt for extra free time to explore Quinta da Regaleira. Departure is at 9:30 am from Marques de Pombal square, with the meeting point in front of Padaria Portuguesa. Upon arrival in Sintra, you can avoid long lines by joining a fully guided tour of the palace to admire its luxurious interiors and lush gardens. Marvel at the fairytale appearance of the building, stunning facade, and extravagant interior. Entrance tickets are included. After the visit, you will have 1 hour and 30 minutes of free time to explore the city on your own. Get recommendations from your guide on must-see sites and the best restaurants to savor delicious traditional Portuguese cuisine. At 3:00 pm, continue to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe, and enjoy the splendid ocean panorama and waves crashing against the high rocky cliffs. If weather permits, a stop at Guincho beach, a popular destination for surfers due to strong winds and high tides, may be included.
