Experience the ultimate adventure in the Western Everglades with our half-day boat tour that now includes three exciting excursions. Join our Wildlife Biologist on a Swamp Walk through a pine flatwood forest to explore the headwaters of the Everglades and learn about the diverse wildlife that call this habitat home. Get up close and personal with snakes, turtles, and alligators during a fascinating reptile presentation. And no trip to the Everglades would be complete without an exhilarating airboat ride through the Pond Apple forests and Alligator Flag marshes, where you can spot wild alligators, turtles, and beautiful wading birds. Our airboat participants will have the opportunity to listen to the narration from their guide and boat captain through state-of-the-art noise-dampening headphones, weather permitting. Rates for the tour are $80 for adults 16 and older, $65 for kids 4-15, and free for kids 3 and younger. The tour lasts for 4 hours, and guests are encouraged to bring sunscreen, water, and water shoes for the swamp walk, as well as to avoid using Uber or Lyft for transportation. From July to October, the trail may be flooded, so be prepared for a wet and wild adventure! Included in the tour are a bird checklist, souvenir pen, rain poncho (if needed), and insect repellent (if needed) to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience in the Everglades.
