Adventure Details
This three-hour boat adventure is designed for individuals interested in learning essential kayaking skills such as wet exiting, recovering, re-entering, and being rescued. Participants will engage in physically demanding activities including swimming, pumping, and climbing back into half-submerged kayaks. It is important to note that this class is not suitable for individuals who are afraid of being upside down in a kayak. Personalized instruction from certified ACA or BCU instructors will be provided to ensure a safe and educational experience. Participants are encouraged to bring their own kayaking gear, including a kayak, PFD, spray skirt, and sponge. However, if you do not have your own equipment, gear can be provided by the organizers. Additionally, bilge pumps and paddle floats will be available for use if needed. This rain or shine class will only be rescheduled in the event of lightning, so be prepared to brave the elements and dive into the adventure with enthusiasm. To fully enjoy this boat adventure, participants are advised to come prepared with appropriate attire that can get wet and dirty, water shoes, sun protection, a glasses strap, dive mask or nose plug, water, snacks, a towel, and a change of clothes. It is important to note that classes with fewer than five participants may be subject to cancellation up to 2 hours before the scheduled start time due to low enrollment. Safety is a top priority, so be sure to follow all guidelines and instructions provided by the instructors for a fun and memorable experience on the water. - Wear clothes that can get wet and dirty - Bring water shoes and sun protection - Remember to bring water, snacks, and a change of clothes - Be prepared for physically demanding activities in the water - Classes with fewer than 5 participants may be subject to cancellation.
Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
