Embark on a spectacular whale watching adventure that lasts approximately 5 hours, offering you the opportunity to observe the abundant wildlife that inhabits the waters surrounding the Azorean shores. Divided into two tours throughout the day, the experience increases the chances of spotting various species and gaining insight into their behaviors. With the first tour starting at 09:00am and the second at 14:30pm, you will have ample time to witness the beauty of the sea and its creatures. Located in Mosteiros, on the west part of the island, this tour allows you to enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty of the area, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. With over 25 cetacean species to be seen, including resident sperm whales, the Azorean whale's migration route ensures a high likelihood of spotting these majestic creatures. Additionally, you can explore the iconic islets of Mosteiros and admire the stunning coastline that surrounds the bay, truly immersing yourself in the rich marine environment. Upon arrival at the Mosteiros fishing port, you will receive a life vest and waterproof light jacket if necessary, followed by a briefing from a guide and biologist regarding the wildlife you may encounter and safety procedures. Throughout the boat tour, you will have the opportunity to learn about the sighted animals and have photos shared with you. While sightings are not guaranteed due to the animals' natural habitat, this adventure promises an unforgettable experience surrounded by the wonders of the ocean. - Water - Comfortable clothes - Jackets - Identification - Camera for capturing memories of the wildlife and scenery.
Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of EUR 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
