Adventure Details
At our waterfront concession in Dewey Beach, we offer paddleboard rentals perfect for smaller paddlers weighing up to 100 lbs. These boards are ideal for children and petite adults, and can also be used as a fun SUP surf board for experienced ocean paddlers. Before renting a paddleboard for ocean use, it is important to check with lifeguards to ensure safety. Rental rates for paddleboards at our concession are $29 for 1 hour, $39 for 2 hours, and $89 for a full day. A $1 Covid cleaning charge per vessel will be added to the rental fee. Each rental includes 1 paddle and 1 life jacket, with gratuity for the instructor, dock hand, or driver not included. Lessons and guides are available through Excursions or Private Lessons. When preparing for a paddleboarding adventure, it is recommended to bring gratuity for the dock staff, a waterproof pouch, sunglasses straps, a towel, a change of clothes, water to drink, and sunscreen. Wear something dry wicking, a bathing suit or board shorts, a hat for sun protection, and footwear. Paddling early mornings or evenings is ideal, and checking the wind forecast before heading out is important. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
