Embark on a 10-hour and 30-minute fishing adventure on Lewis Lake, one of Yellowstone's most iconic lakes. Fish for brown, cutthroat, and lake trout while enjoying the comfort of a motorized drift boat. Whether you prefer dry fly fishing, streamer fishing, or spin cast fishing, this trip offers a variety of fishing techniques to suit your preferences. With the opportunity to catch trout over 20 inches, get ready for an exciting day on the water! The day begins with a scenic 1.5-hour drive through Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks to Lewis Lake. Fishing licenses can be obtained on the way or in advance at select locations. Once at the lake, enjoy the unique experience of fishing on a chain of lakes connected by a river channel. Spend time motoring on Lewis Lake and rowing into the channel, with the option to disembark and hike further into the channel for wade fishing near Shoshone Lake. All necessary equipment, including fly selection, is provided for your convenience. Enjoy snacks, waters, and a picnic lunch on the full-day trip. Native trout will be released back into the water alive, while lake trout and occasionally brown trout can be kept. Return to Jackson by 6:00 pm, with flexible departure and return times available if needed.
